I'm currently employed at a very toxic company the management, staff everything about it is toxic. I've been working there for nearly 10 years and in the 10 years I've been declined for numerous permanent positions that I've applied for. I've worked in different departments in the company as either a facilitator or line manager, however, I would always be sent back to my original position once the work has been done and the person that I stood in for has returned to work. I resigned a week ago, and suddenly upper management are trying to get me into various positions, because "I'm an asset to the company and my colleagues" it's such a pity that they're only seeing this now that I've decided to up and leave. Luckily, my direct line manager has always seen what I'm capable of and has helped me job hunt since November last year. They have absolute faith in me in everything that I've done at the company. So yeah, sometimes we have to think of ourselves and our mental health and ditch the company.
